Welcome to the Wild Ones Greater Indianapolis Chapter!
We promote environmentally friendly landscaping through the preservation, restoration, and establishment of native plant communities across the city of Indianapolis and surrounding areas (Boone, Brown, Hamilton, Hancock, Hendricks, Johnson, Marion, Morgan, Putnam and Shelby Counties and beyond). We want to help preserve and grow biodiversity for a healthy planet.
Wild Ones chapters are spaces where like-minded people gather to support each other in learning about landscaping with native plants and to share with others in their communities and networks why it’s important to reintroduce native plants into public and private gardens and how to do it. Chapters are where change happens! Wild Ones promotes native plants and natural landscapes through education, advocacy, and collaborative action. We are excited to offer local residents the opportunity to expand their impact in the natural landscaping movement and help promote and grow native plants!
